Russian air defense forces downed 132 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight on Thursday, almost half of which were destroyed over the Saratov region, the country's defense ministry said.
The drone attack left two kindergartens, a school and a hospital with broken windows in the city of Engels, located in the Saratov region. The assault, which saw 54 drones being downed over the region, also injured two people, according to Roman Busargin, the region's governor.
