The Russian Defense Ministry claimed on Monday that Ukrainian attacks on Russian energy facilities have intensified, adding that there are no signs of the energy ceasefire that Kiev committed to.
"The Kiev regime continues daily unilateral attacks on the Russian energy infrastructure in violation of the Russian-American agreements on the cessation of strikes on energy facilities for 30 days as of March 18 this year. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian armed forces attacked Russian energy facilities six times," the ministry said in a statement.
On Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reaffirmed that his country agreed to the US-brokered "full" and "unconditional" ceasefire, accusing his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin of seeking to prolong the war.
