Russian Duma to publish sanctions criminal code amendments

The Russian State Duma will next week be introducing amendments to the Federation's criminal code on the implementation of anti-Moscow sanctions on Russian territory, ​​chairman of the country's Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation Andrey Klishas stated on Sunday.

"My colleagues from the state Duma and I have completed the work and on Monday we will be amending the Criminal Code for the enforcement of restrictive measures imposed by foreign states (sanctions) on the territory of the Russian Federation, and we look forward to prompting consideration of the amendments by the State Duma," Klishas wrote on his Telegram channel.

On Friday, the state Duma ratified the amended bill ordering the delisting of Russian company securities from foreign exchange markets and subsequently converting them to Russian securities.
