Russian Federation's Commander-in-Chief of the Strategic Missile Forces Sergey Karakayev said on Friday that the army's new intermediate-range Oreshnik missiles are capable of striking targets all over Europe.
"Based on the tasks set and the range of this weapon, it can hit targets throughout Europe, which distinguishes it from other types of long-range precision weapons," Karakayev said during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
At this same gathering, Putin highlighted the nation's intention to persist in the testing phase of the missiles.
