Russian air strikes caused a fire at an industrial facility in the Kiev region and several injuries, Ukrainian authorities said Wednesday.
Reports indicate that Russia launched missile and drone strikes against Ukraine early Wednesday. The Ukrainian military claimed to have shot down five out of six missiles and 24 drones launched during the overnight Russian attack.
Serhiy Popko, head of the Kiev city military administration, stated on the Telegram messaging application that Ukraine's air defense systems successfully destroyed all aerial weapons as they approached the capital.
