Russian warplanes accidentally enter S. Korea airspace

Several Russian warplanes entered the South Korean air defense identification zone (KADIZ) in the East Sea, Yonhap reported, citing the South's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).

The JCS stated that it detected Russian warplanes before they entered KADIZ and sent its Air Force jets in response. The military clarified that it was found that the entry occurred during training and that the Russian warplanes did not intend to violate the airspace.
