S. Korea, Japan: N. Korea fires two ballistic missiles

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff revealed on Monday that North Korea has fired two ballistic missiles into the East Sea (Sea of Japan).

Seoul's military said it is analyzing further details of the launch. It was the eighth ballistic missile launched by Pyongyang so far in 2023, according to South Korean media.

Japan's Coast Guard also reported that two missiles were launched from North Korea around 8 am local time, both of which have seemingly already fallen.
