The Greek government is a step away from finalizing the purchase of 36 precise and universal launching system (PULS) rocket launchers from Israel and 40 F-35 fighter jets from the United States, the media such as Channel 12 and the Jerusalem Post reported on Friday.

The acquisition was reported to be worth between €600 million and €700 million ($630 million and $735 million). Greece's ten-year weapon investment plan was also said to include buying four frigates from France.

Slightly more than a year ago, Greece purchased from Israel the Spike fire-and-forget anti-tank guided missiles in the value of $400 million.
