German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (pictured right) insisted on Wednesday that Ukraine's integration path into the European Union is "irreversible."
Speaking at the 7th German-Ukrainian Business Forum in Berlin, Scholz said that Russian President Vladimir Putin hasn't achieved "a single war goal." Addressing Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal (pictured left), who was also at the event, Scholz said that Kiev "can rely on Germany."
On his part, Shmyhal remarked that whoever invests in Ukraine today, is also investing "in a future EU member state."
