United States Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer criticized Fox News for choosing not to air the upcoming hearing of the Select House Committee handling the capitol riot probe, which is scheduled for Thursday.
"It's so important that the truth about what happened leading up to the insurrection on January 6 and what happened on that day is presented for the world to see," said the Democrat, claiming the decision will "obstruct the American people from hearing the truth."
On January 6 last year, a group of Trump supporters breached the Capitol building while Congress was in session, which the former head of state was accused of inciting in order to stop lawmakers from affirming election results.
