Senate Democrats are planning to boycott the Judiciary Committee vote on whether to advance the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett for the Supreme Court to the floor, Politico reported on Wednesday.
The committee is set to vote on the matter on Thursday, while the full Senate is expected to vote on the nomination on Monday.
Earlier, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer unsuccessfully tried to prevent the floor vote scheduled for Thursday as the Senate blocked his attempt with 51 votes to 44.
