Several people were injured in a stabbing attack in the German city of Mannheim on Friday, authorities said. While the number of casualties is currently unclear, media reported one of the victims is far-right activist Michael Stuerzenberger. A police officer and the alleged attacker were also injured.
The motive for the attack is unclear and is under investigation. Local authorities said there is no danger to the public.
