Shopping mall in Odessa on fire - report

A fire broke out at a shopping center in Odessa on Monday as a result of Russian missile strikes on the city, according to a report by the Kyiv Independent.

The port city is Ukraine's central trading hub and its lifeline to the rest of the world which has been the target of Russia's military attacks since Moscow launched its offensive in the country.

Earlier on Monday, European Council President Charles Michel was forced to take cover during his visit to Odessa.
