Trudeau: Unidentified object shot down over Canada

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Saturday that the Canadian and United States aircraft were scrambled after an unidentified object violated Canadian airspace. The object was successfully shot down by a US F-22.

Trudeau added that he spoke with US President Joe Biden about the incident and that Canadian forces will recover and analyze the wreckage of the object. The object was first spotted by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) which did not release details on its possible origin and purpose.
