Starlink to launch direct-to-cell services in Ukraine

Veo Ltd. announced in a press release on Monday that its digital operator in Ukraine Kyivstar signed an agreement with SpaceX's Starlink to launch direct-to-cell satellite connectivity in Ukraine.

According to the press release, Kyivstar expects to roll out direct-to-cell Starlink services with SMS and OTT messaging features in the last quarter of 2025 for its clients, and intends to upgrade to voice and data in later phases.
