Apple Inc. has unveiled its new supercharged Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro chips, the company announced on its website on Tuesday.
The compact desktop, redesigned around Apple silicon, offers a significant performance boost, with up to 1.8x faster CPU and 2.2x faster GPU than its predecessor. The M4 Pro model adds Thunderbolt 5 for faster data transfer.
Commenting on the new product, John Ternus, Apple's senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, stated, "The new Mac mini delivers gigantic performance in an unbelievably small design thanks to the power efficiency of Apple silicon and an innovative new thermal architecture."
