Stoltenberg to open first NATO cyber defense conference

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will travel to Germany on November 9 to open the first NATO Annual Cyber Defence Conference in Berlin, the alliance said in a statement on Monday. German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock will join him in delivering opening remarks. The conference will "bring together decision-makers across the political, military and technical levels" in order to improve NATO's cybersecurity.

Stoltenberg will also meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on November 9. He is expected to meet with Defense Minister Boris Pistorius the next day.
