United States President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin have finished their telephone conversation, NBC News reported on Tuesday. Shortly afterward, the Kremlin confirmed the news.
According to a White House official familiar with the matter, the call began at 10:00 am ET and lasted at least 90 minutes. Meanwhile, CNN reported that the exchange went "very well." Later, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov declared that it lasted two hours and concerned the issues of bilateral relations and the conflict in Ukraine.
Previously, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino tweeted that the conversation was "going well."
