Saudi Arabia and the United States announced in a joint statement that the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have agreed to implement another ceasefire.
The ceasefire will start on June 18, 6 am Khartoum time and last 72 hours.
"The parties agreed that during the ceasefire they will refrain from prohibited movements, attacks, use of military aircraft or drones, artillery strikes, reinforcement of positions and resupply of forces, and will refrain from seeking military advantage during the ceasefire," Saudi Arabia and the US said in the statement.
