Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson (pictured) stated on Sunday during the Munich Security Conference that while the West has proved that there is a certain "structure and architecture" in the western approach to the Ukrainian conflict, it doesn't answer the long-term challenge to rebuild.
Kristersson underscored that the western allies have "to unite on the money, on the legal frameworks" to help reconstruction actions after the war has ended. He added that while the European Union has to "prove unity with the United States" it must not rely on it to solve all challenges.
Addressing the future Ukrainian membership in the EU, the prime minister urged caution, saying that it must not be rushed, as the country needs to legally adapt in order to use the full benefits that come with joinder.
