Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek eliminated Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City on her way to the final of the 2022 US Open tournament.

Although Sabalenka won the first set 6-3, Swiatek recovered and took the next two sets 6-1, 6-4.

The competition's first seed will fight Ons Jabeur of Tunisia for the Grand Slam title.
