Syrian constitutional reform committee has been created, United Nations Special Envoy for the Syria Crisis Staffan de Mistura (pictured) said during Sochi peace talks on Tuesday, according to RT.
"In your final declaration today you’ve embraced 12 principles, developed in the Geneva political process, which describes a vision of Syria, that all Syrians should be able to share," De Mistura stated.
Two days ago, representatives of the Kurds in Syria stated they would not attend peace talks in the Russian town of Sochi because of the ongoing Turkish offensive in the north of the country.
