Thoma Bravo LP has agreed to acquire SailPoint Technologies in a deal worth around $6.9 billion, the Financial Times reported on Monday. The private equity firm is expected to pay $65.25 per share, a premium of 31.5%, according to people familiar with the negotiations.
SailPoint was founded in 2005 and provides cybersecurity services, including cloud protection and remote work environments. The company's shares soared over 26% in premarket trade following the report.
