Former United States President Donald Trump in a statement on Saturday reiterated his criticism of the cost and effectiveness of Obamacare, stating that it's "out of control" and not providing quality healthcare.
The former head of state mentioned "seriously" considering alternatives and highlighted his frustration with some Republican senators who campaigned against Obamacare for six years but later opted not to terminate it. "It was a low point for the Republican Party, but we should never give up," Trump said.
His comments were made in response to an article by The Wall Street Journal reporting on Elizabeth Warren's admission that Obamacare contributed to increased healthcare prices and industry consolidation.
