UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and US President Donald Trump discussed efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza in a phone call, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM) on Tuesday.
During the call, MBZ reaffirmed support for a two-state solution as the foundation for "a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in the region—one that guarantees security and stability for all its countries and peoples."
Previously, Israeli military forces restarted ground operations across Gaza with Defense Minister Israel Katz indicating potential territorial occupation after Hamas rejected the revised ceasefire proposal.
