Former United States President Donald Trump reaffirmed his intent to hold outdoor rallies despite an assassination attempt and the Secret Service's advice to hold events indoors.

I will continue to do outdoor rallies, and Secret Service has agreed to substantially step up their operation," Trump said.

Trump's decision follows a report from The Washington Post, which revealed that Secret Service agents had recommended canceling large outdoor events after the attempt on his life at a rally in Pennsylvania. Despite this, Trump confirmed his readiness to return to Pennsylvania for another rally, stressing the importance of free speech and public gatherings.
