Secret Service reportedly tells Trump to avoid outdoor rallies

The United States Secret Service advised former President Donald Trump's campaign to avoid holding large outdoor events after an attempt was made on Trump's life at his rally in Pennsylvania, the Washington Post reported.

Unnamed people familiar with the matter told the media outlet that Trump's campaign is now looking at basketball arenas and other large indoor spaces and is not planning any big outdoor gatherings.

US Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatlere allegedly decided to step down from her position after the agency failed to prevent the attempted assassination.
