Former United States President Donald Trump promised on Friday to pass the "Trump reciprocal trade act" if he is reelected in November. "If China or any other country makes us pay a tariff... we will make them pay a reciprocal identical tariff right back," he told his supporters ahead of the South Carolina Republican primary.
Trump called US President Joe Biden a "true threat to democracy," claiming his administration "go after" people who claim the 2020 election was rigged. He accused the Department of Justice of the "weaponization of justice," alleging that the lawsuits filed against him are a "big fat scam."
