New York Supreme Court issued on Friday a fine of $454 million to former President Donald Trump in relation to the fraud case brought against him by New York Attorney General Letitia James regarding net worth manipulation.
The penalty encompasses $364 million in damages, as determined by Judge Arthur Engoron's ruling on February 16, along with interest. The court found that Trump, his family, and his corporations had inflated the 77-year-old former White House head's net worth by billions.
Additionally, Trump is barred from holding any "officer or director" positions within New York corporations or other legal entities "for a period of three years."
