Trump: US is being destroyed by inflation

Former United States President Donald Trump mentioned on Saturday that inflation is destroying the US while noting that it is not a new issue.

"You're being destroyed, and a lot of it has to do again with the energy. The energy prices have gone so much that it's a big deal, and other things are happening suddenly," said the former president. In addition, Trump criticized the current administration for not understanding what is going on regarding energy prices.

He added that the Ukraine crisis did not create the inflation problem, but Biden's inability regarding the economy. "Americans cannot afford to buy their groceries. They cannot afford to heat their homes. They cannot afford to fill their cars," he emphasized.
