United States President Donald Trump said on Thursday that the mineral deal with Ukraine will be signed on April 24.
"We have a minerals deal, which I guess is going to be signed on Thursday, next Thursday, soon. And I assume they're going to live up to the deal, so we'll see, but we have a deal on that," Trump told reporters during a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
The US president said that he has no comment about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement that a mineral deal could be signed this week, saying that he has "no idea" and that it is Zelensky's statement, not his.
