Former United States President Donald Trump said at a rally in Pennsylvania that Elon Musk told him that "we will reach Mars before the end of my term" if he is reelected in November. Trump claimed the US will "lead the world in space exploration" with Musk's SpaceX.

Trump accused his opponent, US Vice President Kamala Harris, of "destroying everything she's touched" and called her "the most incompetent and far-left nominee ever to run for president." He claimed the Biden administration is abolishing voter identification in order to "cheat at elections" and alleged that its response to Hurricane Helene was "the worst job ever done helping people" through a natural disaster.
