Two injured in drone strike in southern Lebanon

At least two people were injured in an Israeli drone strike on Markaba in southern Lebanon, Lebanese state media reported on Thursday. The attack allegedly targeted a town square.

The Lebanese National News Agency also said a tank fired a shell on the village of Al-Wazzani. A ceasefire between Israel and the Lebanese militant organization Hezbollah officially came into force yesterday, although the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have not yet withdrawn from southern Lebanon.
