British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace confirmed on Thursday previous reports about the United Kingdom sending long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles to Ukraine.
While addressing the House of Commons, Wallace underscored that these armaments will provide Kiev with "the best chance to defend [itself] against Russia's continued brutality, especially the deliberate targeting of Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, which is against international law."
Russian officials previously answered the news by saying that Moscow will have to give an "adequate response."
