The British Foreign Office announced on Tuesday that it added three Israeli settler outposts and four organizations to the sanctions list amid rising violence against Palestinians in the West Bank. They include a religious school that is "known to promote violence against non-Jewish people," a charity, a construction company and a non-governmental organization, which were accused by the British government of aiding illegal settlements.
"The Israeli government must crack down on settler violence and stop settler expansion on Palestinian land. As long as violent extremists remain unaccountable, the UK and the international community will continue to act," British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said.
