British Foreign Secretary David Cameron stated on Friday that it is obvious that a "clear major reform of Israel's deconfliction mechanism is badly needed to ensure the safety of aid workers" after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) revealed the first findings of its investigation.

Posting on his X account, Cameron joined Washington in expressing that his government is "carefully reviewing" what Israel is investigating on the death of workers of the World Central Kitchen who were struck by IDF in a car while on a mission to deliver food and humanitarian aid in Gaza.

"[We] welcome the suspension of two officers as a first step […] These findings must be published in full and followed up with a wholly independent review to ensure the utmost transparency and accountability."
