Denmark's largest energy company Orsted A/S made no payments to Gazprom Export for natural gas supplies in April by the end of working hours on May 31, the Russian energy giant said on Tuesday.
Gazprom added it will thus suspend gas deliveries to Orsted from June 1 until the Danish company complies with energy payment rules recently set out by the Russian government.
For the same reason, Gazprom will temporarily stop supplying gas to Shell Energy Europe Limited also from June 1.
