United Kingdom Defense Intelligence reported on Tuesday that Russian forces have lost their flagship Moskva, as they struggle to maintain control in the Black Sea, alongside a portion of their naval aviation combat jets.
The Black Sea Fleet is using long-range cruise missiles that support operations on the ground, but Russian operations are limited to the Crimean coast, which is giving the Ukrainians the opportunity to divert resources and push against the Russian forces elsewhere on the ground.
Russian forces also lost control of Snake Island in the Black Sea, the UK intelligence said.
