United Nations urged North Korea on Monday to stop conducting ballistic missile tests since they "threaten regional and international security."
"We call on the DPRK [Democratic People's Republic of Korea] to stop further testing and allow space to explore the resumption of meaningful dialogue," Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for the UN secretary general stated.
The call comes after Pyongyang's latest missile launch on Sunday, which flew about 500 kilometers. North Korea described the test as "successful" and claimed it proved the country has the potential to reach Hawaii and Alaska with a nuclear warhead.
