United States President Joe Biden and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez held a call where they pledged to work together to ensure the "sustained delivery of life-saving humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza."
According to a White House statement, both leaders expressed concern about the recent developments in the Red Sea and denounced the ongoing Houthi attacks on commercial vessels.
Biden voiced his satisfaction that Sanchez had secured a new term and that they could continue developing a bilateral relationship regarding defense and security cooperation between the United States and Spain.
