Denmark refuses cooperation and is afraid to work with Russia on investigating the blasts that occurred on the Nord Stream gas pipeline as it fears the latter might find different results to the ones shown by now, Moscow's envoy to Copenhagen Vladimir Barbin (pictured) told Sputnik on Monday.
"Does this position of the Danish prosecutor's office express fears in Copenhagen that the Russian side may find out something that will create risks for Denmark's cooperation with the United States in the security sphere or Denmark's supply of weapons to Ukraine? Perhaps this is the reason for the total secrecy of the investigation into the terrorist attack on the pan-European energy infrastructure that took place a year ago?" Barbin wondered.
Russia recently accused Denmark, Sweden, and Germany of not committing fully to the investigation of the incidents and expressed its doubt such a probe exists at all.
