The United States won its fifth gold medal in a row in men's basketball on Saturday, beating France 98-87. While France only came out on top in the third quarter, the host team put up a fight, coming within six points of the US late in the fourth period.
The top scorer of the night was France's Victor Wembanyama with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists, followed by American star Steph Curry (pictured) at 24 points and 5 assists. Curry also landed seven three-pointers, the most of any men's players in a gold Olympic game.
