Major stock markets in the United States ended Tuesday's session mixed after Nvidia Corporation's managed to surpass Microsoft's market capitalization and hit $3.33 trillion, gaining the status of the most valuable company in the world. During the trading session, the S&P reached a new all-time high, touching the 5,490.38 benchmark.
Monetary policymakers delivered a bunch of remarks that investors are still analyzing to find clues on the further moves of the Federal Reserve.
The Nasdaq 100 closed flat and it achieved the closing all-time high of 19,902.75. The S&P 500 gained 0.25%, hitting a new closing record close of 5,487 points with GE Vernova Inc soaring 6.41%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average index gained 0.15% with Goldman Sachs Group Inc. increasing 1.61%.
The euro was flat against the dollar at 3:58 pm ET, to sell for $1.07380.
