The seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate for the week ending October 1 was 1%, unchanged in comparison to unrevised numbers from the prior week. The seasonally adjusted insured unemployment during the same week was 1,368,000, up by 3,000 from the previous week's revised figure. The four-week moving average stood at 1,363,750, falling by 8,000 compared to the previous week's revised average.
