US-led strikes hit Raqqa 250 times in one week

The United States-led coalition in Syria has carried out airstrikes on the Islamic State's de facto capital Raqqa and areas around it 250 times in the past seven days, AFP reported on Tuesday citing a US military official.

Earlier, a monitoring group stated 42 civilians were killed in US-led attacks on Raqqa on Monday, while another 27, including women and children, lost their lives during airstrikes on the ISIS stronghold on Sunday.
