United States special envoy to the Middle East Jason Greenblatt said that the US administration is considering waiting for a new Israeli government to be formed in November before releasing the political part of its Middle East peace plan.
Greenblatt said the White House wanted to release the political part of the peace plan during the summer, "but the new elections have thrown us off" and added that the administration will still be committed to the plan regardless of US President Donald Trump's re-election campaign. "It should not be an obstacle," Greenblatt told The Jerusalem Post.
