US oil inventories reportedly down by 5.52M barrels

Crude oil inventories in the United States declined by 5.52 million barrels last week, private data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) reportedly showed on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, reserves in Cushing, Oklahoma, allegedly fell by 1.35 million barrels. Gasoline stockpiles fell by 5.09 million barrels, while distillate inventories improved by 310,000 barrels, according to the reported data.
