Pentagon's Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) revealed in a statement on Friday that the State Department approved a potential sale of its military equipment to Israel, valued at over $7 billion.
The DSCA shared that the Israeli government requested munitions, guidance kits, fuzes, and munitions support, alongside other related equipment, worth $6.75 billion, while also asking for AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, the cost of which stands at $660 million.
"The United States is committed to the security of Israel, and it is vital to US national interests to assist Israel to develop and maintain a strong and ready self-defense capability. This proposed sale is consistent with those objectives," the DSCA commented.
