Major stock markets in the United States opened mixed on Wednesday ahead of the Federal Open Market Committee's (FOMC) release of its newest minutes. The country will also see its latest data on services and manufacturing sectors and crude oil stocks. Earlier in the day, the newest Automatic Data Processing Inc.'s (ADP) report showed a rise in private payrolls of 807,000.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average went up by 0.10% at the opening as Intel Corporation rose by 4.33%. On the other hand, the Nasdaq 100 lost 0.53%, with Adobe Inc. plunging by 4.85%. The S&P 500 declined by 0.15% as Salesforce.com Inc. slumped by 6.17%.
The euro went up by 0.45% against the dollar to sell for $1.13352 at 9:28 am ET.
