Stock exchanges on Wall Street slipped into the red territory in the premarket on Monday as traders are uncertain about the next interest rate decision that the Federal Reserve will take on Wednesday. Lately, representatives of the monetary authority stressed that the consumer price index is still above goal and that the pause of a past meeting did not mean rate hikes were over.
The Dow Jones declined 0.07% at 8:11 am ET, the Nasdaq 100 fell 0.23% and the S&P 500 decreased 0.11%. The euro traded flat at the same time.
